Hailing from San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines, he was raised with unconditional love and care by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry and Estrellita Miranda, alongside his two siblings. Affectionately known as TJ among close relatives and friends, he demonstrated an unwavering determination in his pursuit of education, culminating in the successful attainment of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2001.

At the young age of 21, TJ embarked on an adventurous new chapter by migrating to Saipan, a Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, where he found both love and companionship with his future wife, Gerlyn, during his tenure at a car rental company.

In 2009, TJ and Gerlyn decided to make California, specifically San Diego County, their home, marking the beginning of an exciting new phase in their lives. In November of the same year, TJ’s deep sense of patriotism and commitment to his new home country led him to enlist in the US Army Reserves. He proved to be an exemplary soldier, undergoing rigorous basic training at Fort Knox, KY, and excelling as a Unit Supply Specialist at Fort Lee, VA. Even amidst his military responsibilities, TJ remained dedicated to his passion for computer networking and pursued courses at Southwestern College, Chula Vista, earning the prestigious Dean’s List accolade in the spring semester of 2010. His dedication was further recognized when he received an invitation to become a member of the esteemed Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society two years later. During this journey, he was joined by his father, Jerry, and later, his mother, fortifying the bonds of family in the US.

In addition to his academic and military achievements, TJ embraced his roots as a Freemason from Emon Lodge No. 179 under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the Philippines. He also became associated with Claude H. Morrison Lodge No. 747 and Welcome Lodge No. 255 under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of California, further embodying the principles of Freemasonry.

March 2013 saw TJ, Gerlyn, and his mother settling in Lemoore, California, where he continued to flourish both personally and professionally. His unwavering dedication and honed skills led him to an immensely gratifying career in the Navy as a Contractor, eventually achieving the prestigious distinction of becoming a Civil Service Federal employee.
